Water Resistant PVA Adhesive 5Kg
Aro-Bond® 519 can be used for many woodworking applications where a high level of water resistance is required, and has been successfully used for hot and cold pressing applications in the manufacture of windows, doors, cabinets, furniture and surface bonding for laminating applications. Aro-Bond® 519 can also be cured using radio frequency equipment.

Woodstikk D3 PVA is successfully used for different types of wood and laminates, when high water resistance D3, EN 204/205 class is needed. The product is ready-to-use and suitable for hot, cold and radio frequency cured pressing.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are smooth, clean and free from dust or other deposits. Wood, plywood, laminated plastics should be of uniform thickness. Some dense hardwoods may require sanding before bonding. For best results the materials to be bonded and the ambient conditions must be above the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of the adhesive.
Woodstikk® D3 PVA can be applied with many suitable decives; e.g. spreading machine, glue roller, serrated trowel, glue brush, etc. Generally single-sided glue application is sufficient. Double-sided application is recommended for hard and exotic timbers. Pressure should be high enough to ensure the contact of the parts over the entire area of the joint. The final bond strength according to the stressing groups will be achieved after 7 days.
Wood and wood-based materials are natural products. Unpredictable discolouration may, in some cases, appear on different types of wood or to be related ot the type of pretreatment.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Clean machines, equipment and tools with water before the adhesive dries. Cured adhesive can be removed with acetone or a similar solvent.
Woodstikk® D3 PVA should be stored in the original containers in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 40°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of at least 6 months. Woodstikk® D3 PVA must not be allowed to freeze and ideally should be warmed to at least 15°C before use.
